Potassium carbonate (K₂CO₃) and zinc metal (Zn) are treated with excess dilute nitric acid in separate experiments.
Outline a method that can be used to obtain a solid sample of a salt where EITHER the K₂CO₃ OR Zn completely reacts with the dilute nitric acid as described in (a) (i) above.
