CAPE Biology Unit 1 · 2005 · Paper 2 · Question 9(b)(i)

A single species of brown cats in a homogeneous habitat was divided into two populations by an earthquake-formed canyon. Environmental pressures led to white cats in one population. The canyon filled, and the two populations now share the same habitat but cannot interbreed.
