There are four alcohols with molecular formula C4H10O. Butan-1-ol and butan-2-ol are two examples.

When butan-2-ol is heated with phosphoric acid, a mixture of alkenes is produced, one of which exhibits isomerism. Write the names and displayed formulae of the two isomers of this alkene.

The mark scheme is shown once you've answered.
