CSEC Physics · 1997 · Paper 2 · Question 2(c)(i)

A car is travelling along a level road at 50 km h⁻¹. The car speeds up to 80 km h⁻¹. The driver finds that she has to keep her foot pressed harder on the gas pedal if she wishes to stay at this speed.
