CAPE Pure Mathematics Unit 1 · 2022 · Paper 2 · Question 5(b)

A ladder which is 10\text{ metres} long is leaning against a wall. The bottom of the ladder is sliding away from the base of the wall at a rate of 4\text{ m/s}. Determine the rate at which the top of the ladder is moving down the wall when the bottom of the ladder is 6\text{ metres} from the base of the wall.
