Sam investigates factors affecting the rate of reaction between magnesium and 1M iron(III) chloride solution. Two 5-cm strips of magnesium ribbon are used. One strip is cut into five 1-cm strips and placed in 100 cm³ of iron(III) chloride solution (Experiment 1, Beaker A). The other 5-cm strip is placed in an equal volume of iron(III) chloride solution (Experiment 2, Beaker B). Figure 2 illustrates the reactants at the start and after 30 seconds.

How would the contents of Beaker B differ from the contents of Beaker A after each is left for 30 seconds?
