An experiment was carried out where an unknown mass of calcium carbonate chips was added to excess 2 mol dm⁻³ hydrochloric acid. The volume of CO₂ evolved was measured at specific times using a gas syringe. The results were plotted and produced the graph shown in Figure 4. The reaction equation is: CaCO₃ (s) + 2HCl (aq) → CaCl₂ (aq) + CO₂ (g) + H₂O (l).

Use the graph in Figure 4 to determine the total volume of CO₂ produced.
