Manganese is above hydrogen in the electrochemical series. Duralumin, an alloy of manganese, contains 95% aluminium, 4% copper and traces of magnesium and manganese.

Other than electrolysis, describe a suitable laboratory procedure that could be used to obtain a sample of dry copper from a sample of the alloy.
