In the diagram, O is the centre of the circle. Angle AOB = 80° and AB = 12 cm. The diagram shows a circle with center O, points A and B on the circumference, and a chord AB. A sector AOB is shaded.

Calculate, giving your answer correct to 2 decimal places, the radius of the circle.
