Glass is a non-crystalline solid that melts over a wide temperature range, primarily composed of silicates (SiO₂). The chemical bonds within the SiO₂ tetrahedron vary in strength.
Glass is now widely used as a construction material in buildings. State ONE advantage and ONE disadvantage of using glass in this way.
