Dr Sonya Biggs, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, is told by the new Minister that he is uncomfortable working with her due to her and her husband's alleged political activism for the previous Opposition. Dr Biggs denies this, but is ordered on leave and subsequently receives a letter from the Minister stating she is relieved of her post for "acts of impropriety as a public servant".
With reference to decided cases and the constitution of a named Commonwealth Caribbean state, advise Dr Biggs on her right to seek redress.
