An athlete, normally living and training at sea level with a red blood cell count of 4.2 million per unit of blood, began training at 2,500 m above sea level for an event. His red blood cell count was measured monthly for six months. Table 1 shows these counts.
Describe the shape of the graph between Months 1 and 3 and between Months 4 and 6.
