A lumber yard dealer plans to convert a supply of logs into suitable lumber for building contractors. He was advised to use the quarter sawing method of conversion.

Justify why the method of conversion stated in (c)(ii) is more suitable for producing lumber for the construction industry by listing TWO advantages and ONE disadvantage of that method.
