Figure 2 shows apparatus to investigate conducting properties of substances. The investigation is carried out on two pairs of substances. Pair 1 consists of solid lead bromide and molten lead bromide.

State whether or not the bulb will glow for EACH substance. Explain your answer for EACH substance.
