A police car tyre had a fixed mass of air at 24°C. The air pressure was 210 KPa above atmospheric pressure. After a high speed chase, the air pressure in the tyre was 260 KPa above atmospheric pressure.

Apply the kinetic theory of matter to explain the increased pressure in that tyre.
