Figure 1 shows 5 cm lengths of plasticine, one white and one ink-coloured (blue or black), used as chromosome models. You are asked to conceptualize models of chromosomes during meiosis and draw them in the provided spaces. To distinguish between homologous chromosomes, leave the white plasticine clear and the ink-coloured plasticine with hashed lines.

Draw early anaphase of meiosis I, showing the exchanged chromatid material. (Shade appropriately).
