This question involves geometric constructions and coordinate geometry. For part (a), construct a triangle and a perpendicular line segment.

Using a pencil, ruler and a pair of compasses only, construct Δ ABC with BC = 6 cm and AB = AC = 8 cm. All construction lines must be clearly shown.
