Focusing on the theme of challenging societal norms in 'Birdshooting Season' and 'Once Upon a Time', write an essay where you describe a societal norm challenged by the speaker in each poem. Discuss the conclusion one of the speakers reaches about the societal norm, and examine one poetic device each poet uses to portray the impact of societal norms on individuals.
