Figure 4 shows a crank and slider mechanism where crank OA = 40 mm rotates anticlockwise about O at an angle of 30° to the vertical, connecting rod AB = 100 mm, and point P is an extension along BA such that AP = 25 mm. Point B moves horizontally along line XY located 15 mm below O.
