Herbert and Walter (both aged 10) are playing cricket near Farmer Jones' pumpkin field. The ball goes over to the farm and while retrieving it, Walter's foot is caught in a trap set by Jones to catch thieves, breaking Walter's foot. Jones refuses responsibility.
