The apparatus shown in Figure 3 is used to determine the acceleration due to gravity of a small iron ball. Height of fall, h, and time of fall, t, are measured.

Sketch the velocity-time graph for the motion of the ball on the axes provided. Using the graph, or otherwise, calculate the acceleration of the ball during its fall.
