CAPE Computer Science Unit 2 · 2006 · Paper 2 · Question 5(a)

A GUI application calculates simple interest and monthly instalments on bank loans using user-entered principal amount, interest rate (percentage), and loan term (years). Simple Interest = (Principal * Rate * Time) / 100. Monthly Instalment = (Principal + Simple Interest) / (Time * 12). A GUI object L allows selecting a loan term from 1 to 30 years without typing.

Identify the GUI objects to use in this application and state the purpose of each.

The mark scheme is shown once you've answered.
