A film of liquid separates the bottom face of a glass cube (refractive index 1.50) resting on a surface. A ray strikes the vertical face at angle of incidence i = 48° and refracts such that it hits the horizontal glass/liquid boundary at the critical angle.

Calculate the angle of emergence of the ray from the cube.
