CAPE Physics Unit 1 · 2006 · Paper 2 · Question 5(a)

This question is about circular motion.

A mass, m, moves with constant linear speed, v, in a circle of radius r. Show that the magnitude of the acceleration, a, of the mass is given by a = v²/r.

The mark scheme is shown once you've answered.
