A curve C passes through the point (2, -5). The gradient of the curve at the point (x, y) is given by \frac{\mathrm{d}y}{\mathrm{d}x} = 7 - x^3. The equation of the curve is

  1. (A)y = 7x - \frac{1}{4}x^4 - 15
  2. (B)y = 7x - 3x^2 - 7
  3. (C)y = -3x^2 + 7
  4. (D)y = 7 - x^3

The answer is shown once you've answered.
