CAPE Accounting Unit 2 · 2006 · Paper 2 · Question 2(iv)

The cutting department records processing costs using weighted-average process costing for custom computerized scoreboards. Materials are added at the start of production and conversion occurs uniformly. Conversion cost comprises direct labour plus overhead determined from part (ii).

Prepare a process-costing worksheet for the cutting department for the current period using the weighted-average process costing method.
