Section B: Poetry. Candidates answer one question (either Question 3 or Question 4) based on 'A World of Poetry for CSEC'. Total marks: 35 (25 content, 10 mechanics/structure).

Write an essay focusing on the theme of dealing with uncomfortable situations in 'Mirror' and 'Once Upon a Time'. Describe the uncomfortable situation the speaker faces in EACH poem, discuss how ONE speaker comes to terms with the situation, and examine ONE device used by EACH poet to explore how the speaker grapples with uncomfortable situations.
