Sulphur dichlorine oxide dissociates according to the following equation: SO₂Cl₂(g) → SO₂(g) + Cl₂(g). The data in Table 1 was obtained from a kinetic study of the variation in the rate of dissociation of SO₂Cl₂ with concentration at a constant temperature.

Write the rate equation for the reaction and calculate the value and units for the rate constant.
