An experiment was conducted using 20 potato strips, each weighing approximately 2.0 g, to investigate the effect of different concentrations of sugar solution on potato tissue weight. The weights of the strips were recorded after immersion in pure water and four sugar solution concentrations (0.5, 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 M). The results were plotted on a graph (Figure 1).

List the apparatus and materials and describe the method of this investigation.
