Section B – Poetry: Candidates answer ONE question (35 marks total). Based on 'God's Grandeur' and 'An African Thunderstorm' dealing with man's experiences with the natural world.

Write an essay focusing on man's experiences with the natural world in 'God's Grandeur' and 'An African Thunderstorm'. For each poem, describe the speaker's experience of nature. Discuss one speaker's attitude to the experience, and examine one poetic device each poet uses in the presentation of the natural world.
