Students observe two varieties of a plant species, one with green leaves and one with red leaves. They hypothesize that the green variety photosynthesizes more efficiently and plan an investigation.

Describe the investigation you would undertake to test the hypothesis you suggested in (d)(i). Include in your description the apparatus, materials and method you would use.
