An operational amplifier (op-amp) can function as a comparator. Figure 3 shows an op-amp comparator circuit.
The amplifier in Figure 3 on page 10, has a gain, A = 10^6, and is powered by a supply voltage, V_s, of ± 5 V. Determine the differential input voltage, ΔV, that will result in saturation with a negative voltage on the output. Assume there is zero input offset voltage.
