Section C: Prose Fiction. Candidates answer one question from either the Novel subsection (Question 5 or 6) or the Short Story subsection (Question 7 or 8). For each question, 25 marks are allocated for content and 10 marks for structure, development and competence in the mechanics of writing (Total 35 marks).

Write an essay on Harper Lee's 'To Kill a Mockingbird' focusing on prejudice: describe one example of prejudice Boo Radley experiences and one example Tom Robinson experiences, discuss how one of the examples of prejudice impacts another character, and examine one technique the writer uses to explore the theme of prejudice.
