A contractor agrees to build a house for 250 000 payable upon completion. Running out of money, he leaves the project unfinished. The owner completes it herself. The contractor claims 250 000 representing the value of work completed, asserting that completing the house constituted acceptance of partial performance and prevented completion.

Advise the contractor as to whether he has any claim against the owner, using ONE decided case to illustrate the answer.
