A hot-air balloon has a volume of 700 m³ and the density of the air inside the balloon is 0.90 kg m⁻³. The mass of the balloon's material and load is 280 kg.
The balloon remains stationary about 100 m above the ground. State what forces are acting on the balloon, and explain how they result in no motion.
