CAPE Physics Unit 2 · 2016 · Paper 2 · Question 2(b)

The circuit shown in Figure 3 is used in a tester for resistive transducers. Show that output voltage V_o and R_x are related by the equation V_o = 30\,000\, R_x^{-1} - 10, where R_3 = R_2 = 10\text{ k}\Omega, R_1 = R_x, V_2 = 10\text{ V} and V_1 = -3\text{ V}.
