Write an essay on TWO poems from the prescribed list addressing the theme that progress or growth may be hindered by seen or unseen forces. Describe the progress the speaker seeks in EACH poem, discuss how ONE speaker responds to the hindering force, and examine ONE poetic device used by EACH poet to present the quest for progress.
