An experiment compared the effect of temperature on two protease enzymes: one from a mammal (tropical) and one from a prokaryote (hot springs). Enzyme activity is expressed as a percentage of maximum efficiency. Table 1 provides the data.

Using arrows labelled P1 and P2, indicate, on the x-axis of Figure 1, the temperature at which EACH protease enzyme functions at its maximum efficiency. What accounts for any difference observed?
