Write an essay focusing on the use of symbols in the short stories 'The Two Grandmothers' and 'The Boy Who Loved Ice Cream'. Explain the use of ONE symbol in EACH story, discuss how the title of ONE of the stories supports a theme, and examine how EACH writer uses the symbol described to support the discussed theme.
