A rural community near a river engages in kitchen gardening, livestock rearing, and fishing. They spray a new insecticide ('Insect-Doom') due to an increase in flies, ants, and other insects.

In addition to using insecticides, suggest ONE other method which the residents could use to control the number of flies.
