A 24 V d.c. motor lifted a 25 kg appliance 30 m in 5 s, operating at 100% efficiency.

If the power required to lift the appliance was greater, what effect would this have on the value of the current? Assume the voltage rating remains constant. [g = 10 N Kg-1]
