CAPE Physics Unit 2 · May/June 2021 · Paper 2 · Question 1(b)

A charged capacitor is connected in series with a 1 MΩ resistor and a microammeter. The switch is closed at t=0, allowing the capacitor to discharge through the resistor. Microammeter readings (I_D) are recorded at various times (t) and presented in Table 1.

On the grid provided in Figure 2 on page 7, plot a graph of the discharge current, I_D, versus time, t. Draw a smooth curve through the points.
