The tone heard when blowing across the top of a partially filled bottle (Figure 2) is due to cavity resonance. The frequency, f, depends on the air volume, V, in the bottle, related by the formula f = (c / (2π)) * sqrt(A / (V*L)), where c is the velocity of sound, A is the cross-sectional area of the neck, L is the neck length, and V is the air volume. An experiment to investigate cavity resonance yielded values for f and V in Table 2.

Using an appropriate scale, plot a graph of f against 1/sqrt(V) on the grid provided in Figure 3 on page 13. Draw the line of best fit through the points.
