The curved surface area of a cylinder = 2πrh, where r is the radius and h is the height, and the surface area of a sphere is 4πr^2. The diagram shows a solid glass paperweight which consists of a hemisphere mounted on a cylinder. The radius of the hemisphere is 3 cm, the radius of the cylinder is 3 cm and its height is 8 cm. Calculate, using π = 3.14.
